About the Artist
London Farris was born and raised as a Texas artist. She grew up in Austin and later moved to Tempe Arizona.
Her love for art started at a young age, While attending school she was swimming competitively. Her love for the sport continued to flourish allowing her to receive an athletic scholarship at the University of North Texas. This meant another four years of being a student-athlete.
During this time London became inspired to tell the student-athlete experiences including the struggles and victories. This series is still ongoing and every piece unlocks another aspect of swim and dive and how it affected the artist and continues to do so.
London is a recent graduate from college seeking new opportunities to showcase her passion for painting. She aims to transform any space into something unforgettable. With Her work she aims to create elegant and deeply thought out works of art that capture mundane beauty of the everyday experiences which include lots of swimming imagery and the outdoors.
